Drop the kids off in a supervised environment while you take one of our fitness classes, work out in the Wellness Centre gym, run or walk on our free track, or join in some recreation activities. While you are enjoying your alone time the kids will engage in crafts, movies, and playtime. On consecutive Thursday evenings, we will learn fun facts, food and flag of one country.  On the following Thursday, we will do a craft to highlight that country and get a stamp for your passport. Developing Good Bedtime Routines     Children need a good night’s sleep so they have enough energy for the next day’s activities. Parents also need adequate sleep and some childfree time to ensure their own needs are being met.  The goal is for children to develop healthy, independent sleep patterns. This discussion group will give some positive parenting strategies to help you develop a good bedtime routine. Childcare may be available. Qigong and Crystal Bowl Sound Bath   Qigong (“chee-gong”) is a five-thousand year-old Chinese health method that combines slow, graceful movements with mental concentration and breathing to increase and balance a person’s vital energy. The Tourism Entrepreneurship Startup Seminar (TESS) is a one-day free seminar taking place in various municipalities across Alberta. TESS is designed to assist start-up tourism entrepreneurs and businesses (from concept to about two years in business) access information and resources to help increase the likelihood of a successful start-up tourism business. TESS teaches key industry concepts for new tourism companies and also includes a take-home workbook for self-work and an “expert café” of short meetings with tourism specialists in finance, marketing, and labour.
