Triple P Discussion Group - Developing Good Bedtime Routines

Children need a good night’s sleep so they have enough energy for the next day’s activities.  Parents also need adequate sleep and some child-free time to ensure their own needs are being met.

Baby Blues (ages 18+)

Baby Blues

Are you struggling after having a baby?  Do you feel as if the day-to-day pressures are too much to handle for you or your partner?  Postpartum depression is a type of mood disorder connected with childbirth, which effects both sexes.

Living Through Grief (ages 18+)

Living Through Grief

We all need a support system to help us as we move through our grief journey.  While family and friends are vital, unless they have experienced a close personal loss, they most likely do not fully “get it”.  That is where Living Through Grief can become a valuable resource for you.  Although this is not a support group, we encourage you to come so you can have the opportunity to begin the healing process.

Shake, Rattle and Roll (ages 0 - 6 and guardians)

Shake, Rattle and Roll

You will be singing and dancing your heart out, as you listen and move to different kinds of music and play instruments in the Parent Link Centre band!  Music supports gross and fine motor skills as well as coordination.

Family Connections, Celebrating Family (all ages)

Family Connections, Celebrating Family

Families come in all shapes and sizes and no two are the same.  Join us tonight to celebrate National Family Week and your own unique family with games, discussions and a movie.  Please register at FCSS or 4 Wing MFRCS.

Rhymes That Bind (ages 0 - 3 and guardians)

Rhymes That Bind

The Manifestation Process

Let’s dispel the myth that manifestation is something miraculous that’s “out of this world”.  Manifestation is simply the act of aligning yourself with your desired intentions and goals and then taking the necessary steps to bring those desired intentions and goals into fruition.

Triple P Seminar: Raising Confident, Competent Children (18+)

Triple P Seminar: Raising Confident, Competent Children

The values, skills and behaviors to encourage children are the choice of every individual parent.  However, some core skills are important for everyone.  Children are more likely to be confident, succeed at school and get along with others when they develop certain life skills.
