Pelican Rock Subdivision Sanitary Sewer Extension
The City of Cold Lake will re-route the existing sanitary sewer within the Pelican Rock Subdivision. This realignment will bring the sanitary system in line with the City’s engineering standards, improving both connectivity and capacity of the sanitary sewer within the subdivision.

Background
The developer has unresolved deficiencies within their project that have been outstanding for an extended period. The current sanitary sewer system flows from one private development, through a public road right-of-way, and into another private development, which creates both administrative and operational challenges.

How will this benefit the Community?
The project will expand the developable land inventory within the City of Cold Lake, increasing housing availability for current and future residents. It will also ensure that services provided to the housing units meet the standards outlined in the City of Cold Lake's Engineering Guidelines.
