Ellesmere Light Expedition

John Dunn, a National Geographic published photographer, presents an illustrated talk about his Ellesmere Light Expedition: A Summer Crossing of Canada's Northernmost Island. He brings the island to life with stories and images from his fascinating expedition. Covering 750 km in 50 days, the team relied on some ingenious and lightweight equipment to solve the many challenges posed by a long summer journey in the high Arctic. He is presenting at the South Branch library in Cold Lake (5513 B 48th Ave.) on January 29, 2019 at 7:00 PM. This is a free, drop-in event open to everyone.
