Alex Janvier film to be shown in Cold Lake

Cold Lake, AB – The art of legendary Denesųłiné artist Alex Janvier will be presented in Cold Lake through a unique, 360-degree film starting Aug. 1. 

The film, Soul Symphony: The Art of Alex Janvier, brings Alex Janvier's iconic artwork, stories, and culture to life in a truly unforgettable way. This family-friendly event is suitable for all ages.

“We are incredibly honoured to host this film experience in Cold Lake,” said Mayor Bob Mattice. “Alex Janvier had a tremendous impact on the world of the arts, and his talents created a lasting impact in our community.” 

In partnership with the Janvier Gallery, the 23-minute film will run every 40 minutes from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm (13 shows per day) at the Energy Centre from Aug. 1 to 10. Tickets can be purchased at the door only, with seating for 50 people in each time slot.
