Power outage in Cold Lake

UPDATE at 3:12 PM: The Energy Centre is now open again.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:

We understand many residences and buildings are without power after the storm rolled through this afternoon. We have been in contact with Atco Electric, and they are aware of the issue, and continue to work to restore power to areas that are still without. Lift station generators have come online and mobile generators are being deployed to intersections with traffic lights as necessary.

The Energy Centre is closed until further notice due to the power outage.
