Two community grants approved, one deferred

Cold Lake, AB – Three applications for funding were presented to council with three different outcomes.

The Community Recreation, Art, Culture, and Heritage Investment (CRACH) Grant monthly applications were processed by the Community Grant Advisory Committee before council approved the final decision for each grant. Of the three grant applications, one was awarded for the full amount, one was awarded for a partial amount, and one was deferred to the next Community Grant Advisory Committee meeting, where the applicant can have an opportunity to present their application.

The following applications were approved:

  • Alice Roy for a travel grant in the amount of $500 to attend the 2025 Canadian Francophone Games with Team Alberta as a track runner.
  • The Clayton Bellamy Foundation for the Arts in the amount of $5,000 for a Sponsorship Grant.

The CRACH program has an annual budget of $250,000, of which $108,050 has already been approved and distributed prior to the July 8 Council Meeting. For more information on CRACH or other City grants, visit www.coldlake.com/grants
