Two organizations receive CRACH funding

Two applications were approved for grant funding in the amount of $12,500.

The Community, Recreation, Art, Culture, and Heritage Investment (CRACH) Grant Program supports funding to develop or enhance recreation and cultural programs within the community, with different streams available for applicants.

Applications are reviewed monthly by the Community Grant Advisory Committee, before presented to Council with recommendations. Approved at the Sept. 9, 2025 meeting were the following applications: 

• Filipino Association of Bonnyville and Cold Lake Alberta in the amount of $2,500 in support of hosting the Lakeland Cup 4.0 Basketball League Tournament.
• Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta in the amount of $10,000 Ice Sponsorship in support of the Winterland Invitational Hockey Tournament.
