Unofficial election results for the 2025 municipal election

Cold Lake, AB – The City of Cold Lake has completed its ballot count from the Oct. 20, 2025 municipal election. 

The unofficial results are as follows, with an asterisk (*) noting a candidate who was elected to council. 

Mayor:

-        Sherri Buckle: 784

-        Bob Mattice: 2148*

-        Ty Mikolas: 72

Councillor:

-        Ryan Bailey: 1757*

-        Glenn Barnes: 902

-        Raymond Cowell: 1377*

-        Hussein Elkadri: 515

-        Sarah Fewchuk: 1186

-        Curtis Huizingh: 339

-        Vicky Lefebvre: 1856*

-        James Anthony McDonald: 833

-        Bill (William) Parker: 1754*

-        Chris Vining: 1809*

-        Dawn Weber: 1734*

Official results are reported to Alberta Municipal Affairs on Friday, Oct. 24. These numbers are not anticipated to change in the meantime, but a recount may be requested before Oct. 22 at 4:00 p.m.

The new mayor and council will be sworn in on Nov. 3, 2025 in Council Chambers at 5:00 p.m., followed by an Organizational Meeting and the first of several days of new council orientation. The first Regular Council Meeting will take place on Nov. 25 at 6:00 p.m.
