Pet Licences

dog

Pet owners living in the City of Cold Lake are required to purchase an annual pet licence for any dog or cat over six (6) months of age. If your pet gets lost or is found running at large, a valid pet licence and collar tag is their ticket home. It ensures Animal Care and Control staff are able to identify your pet and contact you to come pick it up.

2024 marks the first full year for pet licences in the City of Cold Lake. Completing and paying for your pet(s) can be done by completing our online form. Once submitted, your information will be reviewed and your pet's tag will be mailed out to you. If you are renewing your pet license for 2025, please keep your pet's current registration tag as there will be no new tags issued for pet renewals.
