Aqua Days
Held on the August (Heritage Day) long weekend at Kinosoo Beach, Aqua Days offers something for each and every member of the family. This year's festivities include:

Vendor Alley
Aqua Days also features a Vendor Alley filled with local businesses, crafters and food options for everyone to enjoy.

Cardboard Boat Races
The annual carboard boat races always bring out the City's most creative and imaginative minds to Kinosoo Beach. Every year we see new and amazing ways our racers use cardboard and duct tape to create interesting and out-of-this-world boats.

Rules
Boat Design and Construction
- Boats must be made using cardboard and duct tape ONLY. Cardboard can be sealed with latex paint or varnish, which must be fully dry before the race. No other materials are permitted.
- Boats must be fully built before the race starts.
- Decorations can be used on the boat, provided they do not affect the structure or buoyancy of the cardboard boat.
- Wooden or plastic paddles may be used during the race.
Team Requirements
- Two people per team (boat)
- Each team must meet the age group requirements:
- Group 1: 10-16 years
- Group 2: 17 and over
- Group 3: Family (one adult and one child)
- PFD's (personal floatation devices such as lifejackets) are mandatory for all members of the team.
Prizes
There will be 3 prize winners from each age group. Winners will be chosen in the following categories:
- Fastest
- Best engineered
- Most artistic
