Volunteer Appreciation

We appreciate our volunteers and the hard work they do in our community. Each year, we host an appreciation event, either online or in-person. This is a chance for people or organizations to nominate their volunteers to be acknowledged.

National Volunteer Week

April 14 - 20, 2024

Cold Lake and District FCSS encourages volunteers and organizations with volunteer programs to celebrate National Volunteer Week in April. National Volunteer Week is a time to recognize the amazing community volunteers who give tirelessly and have a lasting impact on our local charities, groups and organizations.

Organizations with volunteer programs and the public are invited to nominate outstanding community volunteers for our National Volunteer Week Contest. The contest is open to people ages 12 and older, who live and volunteer in Cold Lake or Wards 5 or 6 of the M.D. of Bonnyville. Please visit our program guide for contest details and additional information about FCSS’s annual volunteer week celebration plans.

Organizations with volunteer programs may apply for a Cold Lake and District FCSS Special Project Grant to support their volunteer recognition programs and events.
