Police Dog Harp

Harp is Cold Lake RCMP's only four-legged member and he also has the biggest ears on the force! Harp is a 6-year-old German Shephard police dog who, along with his handler Cst. Jason Jaques, has been working hard to keep Cold Lake and the surrounding communities safe. In 2020, Harp and Cst. Jaques responded to over 315 calls, making them one of the busiest RCMP Police Dog Services teams in Canada! When they're not tracking a suspect or searching for a missing person, Harp and Cst. Jaques can be found patrolling community events or training with other Police Dog teams from across the Lakeland.
