Roads

The City of Cold Lake is responsible for the maintenance of more than 150 kilometres of roadway and that number continues to increase every year as new subdivisions, access roads and commercial areas are built.

Click below to learn more about our snow removal and street sweeping programs, traffic safety and how to report a roads issue to the City.  Please remember that whether it's during the winter months or in warmer months, when city road crews are in your neighbourhood to remove snow or sweep the roads, they will put out signage at least 24 hours before crews arrive. Please ensure you have moved all vehicles and trailers off the road, so the roads can be cleared properly. If you do not remove your vehicle, you run the risk of receiving a ticket as per City Bylaw 536-PL-14.

If you would like to report a pothole on a City-owned roadway (private roads/driveways/parking lots and commercial/retail parking lots are not owned by the City of Cold Lake), use the Report a Pothole tool.
