Report a Pothole

The City of Cold Lake is responsible for the maintenance and repair of potholes on City-owned and operated roads. Use the application on this page to report the location and details of potholes to the Roads department, and to see the repair status for potholes already reported. 

The City is not responsible for maintenance of privately-owned roads, driveways or parking lots. Potholes on private roads/driveways or commercial roads/parking lots (including shopping malls, restaurants, schools and commercial businesses) are not repaired by the City and these reports should be forwarded to the appropriate property owner.

To report a pothole:

• Click the blue button below.
• Left click and drag to navigate the map.
• Use the +/- buttons or scroll your mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
• Important: green potholes have been reported and repaired, yellow potholes have been reported and assigned for repair, and red potholes have been reported but are not yet assigned for repair.
• To make a new report, click the green "Submit a Report" button.
• Navigate to the correct area on the map and left click at the pothole location.
• Fill out as much information as possible. Photos can be uploaded.
• Click "Report It" to complete your report.
