Building #10

Building #10 is a water reservoir and pump house located at 3900-50 Avenue. 

Water is pumped from the water treatment plant to Building #7 and during the night, Building #7 fills the reservoir here at Building #10. The reservoir has a capacity of nearly seven million litres. That’s enough water to take a shower more than 90,000 times. Building #10 supplies water to Cold Lake South during the day. 2.6 million litres of water are used every day in Cold Lake South. There are five pumps inside this building which operate two at a time, to pump 420 litres of water per second.
