Building #7

Building #7 is a water reservoir and pump house located at 5022-62 Street. 

Water is pumped here from the water treatment plant. The reservoir can hold over 2.2 million litres of water. If you were to pump that much water through a standard garden hose, it would take over 24 days! The pump house operates at night to supply the distribution system in Cold Lake South. 2.6 million litres of water is consumed in Cold Lake South every day. The pump house also supplies water to the Building #10 reservoir. There are four pumps here that each pump 173 liters of water per second.
