A recent council meeting held a debate around how the city can best maintain neutrality when it comes to the use of city facilities for political rallies, petitions, and similar events where the public is asked to support a cause or sign a petition.

A request for lane closure and land sale near Lakeshore Drive was withdrawn after a public hearing for the lane closure was held on February 24.

The Tax Sale, originally scheduled for March 18, 2026, has been cancelled.

Obtaining a family physician as a resident of Cold Lake has been notoriously difficult over the past few years, but recent months have started to see this shift.
