Bob Bezpalko is the executive director of Alberta HUB, the regional economic development alliance of northeast Alberta and has worked with many investment projects specific to rural Alberta in the industries of Agriculture, Energy, Manufacturing, Aerospace and UAVS. Alberta Hub just completed phase one of the Alberta Hub Skyways Project designed to build a drone‑friendly transportation network in Northeastern Alberta, enabling routine beyond‑visual‑line‑of‑sight (BVLOS) drone operations, middle‑mile delivery, and future advanced air mobility. It aims to create the infrastructure, regulatory groundwork, and industry partnerships needed to support commercial drone services across the region.

Bob works closely with all the members of Alberta HUB which includes municipalities, First Nations, Metis Settlements, Colleges/Universities, and business/Industry and has the expertise in enabling investment on a regional scale. 

In his position as a regional economic development professional, Bob has played a meaningful role in supporting investment which in turn enhances the quality of life in the Alberta HUB region.
