Ian Rickman

Ian Rickman is an accomplished operations leader with over 30 years of experience across military service, energy operations, and defense contracting. Beginning his career in 1988 with the Royal Canadian Regiment, he later transitioned to the Royal Canadian Air Force in 2001 as an Aviation Technician, building deep technical and leadership expertise. Over nearly 25 years of service, he held progressive leadership roles across Canada and on international deployments, retiring in February 2013 with a strong reputation for discipline, adaptability, and operational excellence.

Following his military career, Ian held leadership roles in the oil and gas sector before joining L3Harris in 2018. Advancing from Technical Team Lead through multiple supervisory positions, he now serves as the Cold Lake Site Manager, where he is responsible for leading site operations, managing multidisciplinary teams, and delivering mission-critical outcomes. Ian is recognized for his practical, results-driven leadership style and his ability to effectively lead in complex, high-reliability environments.
