Dan Juhlin
Dan is a respected leader in the Canadian RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) landscape with over a decade of experience spanning operations, analysis, policy development, and training. He has been instrumental in developing solutions that have advanced the Canadian RPAS ecosystem, with technical expertise in RPAS, GIS, spatial modeling, and remote sensing.
His professional experience includes serving as Director, Regulatory at AERIUM Analytics Inc., where he focused on compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations. Dan also served as program lead and RPAS Operations Coordinator for the Government of Alberta RPAS program and has held positions as a Remote Sensing Analyst in energy and forestry with Cenovus Energy Inc. and Millar Western Forest Products.
Holding a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography with a concentration in GIS, Dan also has a Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Certificate with Flight Reviewer Rating. He currently chairs the Regulatory Committee for the Aerial Evolution Association of Canada and chairs the RPAS Committee for Alberta Aviation Aerospace Defence Council.
